Single malt whisky from award winning Duncan Taylor, The NC2 Range. This whisky was distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2011.
A higher portion of 1st fill Sherry casks gives a rich, mouth-coating whisky, full of ripe apples, orange peel, pear drops, vanilla, spicy oak, and sherry. A truly great whisky with perfect balance.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Green apples and ripe pears, oatcakes and honey.
Palate: Chocolate and shortbread and very fruity and floral.
Finish: There is a spicy peppery finish and still fruity.
