Tasting Notes:
Translucently pale with silvery/gold flashes. Fast moving bubbles keep rising. Crushed dried wildflowers and grasses mingle with baker shop aromas, apple purée, oyster shells and nuts. Tension and grace in the mouth, a crisply biting experience of beautiful balance and poise with perfect breadth and length of flavour.

White peach, grapefruit, apple, almond and oyster shell on the nose, with a beautifully balanced and focused palate.

Serving:
Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Essentiel NV is an invigorating champagne that is exquisite alongside the finest food. It pairs especially well with Colchester oysters, langoustine sashimi or tempura shrimp.

Winemaking:
A blend of 50-55% Pinot Noir, 30-35% Meunier, 15-20% Chardonnay, and enriched with 15-20% reserve wines added, the blend is a marriage of over 100 wines made with the finest grapes sourced from across the Champagne region.

With 6 g/l dosage (Extra Brut) and a minimum of four years lees ageing for a wider range of food pairing options

Matured in stainless steel instead of oak barrels, to preserve the purity of fruit.
